Abstract
Traditionally, exercises for cancer survivors with lymphedema have been considered harmful. Nowadays, many studies support that both aerobic and resistance exercises do not increase the risk of lymphedema for breast cancer survivors nor aggravated postmastectomy lymphedema. There has been little evidence for lower-extremity lymphedema; however, there seem to be similar effects. With some precautions, including medical check-ups, skincare, compressive garments, and foot-cares, we can suggest exercises more actively to cancer survivors without lymphedema concerns.
